Q: What is the purpose of Imagineers? 

A: Imagineers is a family-friendly arts festival for the Sunshine Coast community. It’s a chance for the young and young at heart to connect through imagination, creativity and play. 

Q: Is Imagineers a school fete for Montessori International College?

A: No, the Festival is a gift for the whole community. To learn how we began, see Past Festivals.

Q: What happens if it rains?

A: We will assess the weather situation. If deemed unsafe to hold the event, it will be postponed until a later date. All tickets will be honoured for the new date. If you cannot attend the new date, you can ask for a full refund

Q: Where can I park? 

A: Parking is available close by, with a shuttle service taking you into the main gates. A ‘Kiss & Go’ drop-off zone is also available. You can also take public transport. Check out Getting Here & Getting Around for more information. 

Q: When will the acts be announced?

A: We know you’re excited – we are too! All acts and experiences will be announced by August. In the meantime, stay in the loop by subscribing to our updates. 

Attendees FAQs

Q: What should I bring to the Festival?

A: Imagineers is an outdoor adventure. Be sure to bring:

  • Tickets (on your mobile device or a printed copy)
  • Insect repellent
  • Sunscreen
  • Water bottle
  • Light Jacket
  • Camera
  • Comfortable shoes for outdoors
  • Cash for food and all sorts of goodies

Q: Will there be an ATM?

A: Absolutely. If you need cash there will be several ATMs located in the Market Place.

Q: Will there be refillable water stations?

A: Montville Mist Springwater are generously providing water for the event. Bring your personal water bottle to refill and stay hydrated during the event.

Q: Is alcohol served at Imagineers?

A: Imagineers is an alcohol-free event. No alcohol is permitted on the grounds, including BYO. We do serve delicious beverages from local vendors to quench your spring-time thirst. 

Q: I have a young family and need to bring a bag and pram. Can I leave these anywhere?

A: You sure can! A ‘pram and bags’ parking station is available. To support our charity partner, Make-A-Wish Foundation, a gold coin donation will be collected for this service. 

Q: Can I smoke at Imagineers?

A: Our festival is a smoking-free zone. This includes cigarettes and other substances! 

Q: Are pets allowed?

A: Unfortunately no, although all certified assistance and guide dogs are welcome.  

Q: What happens if I lose my tickets?

A: Tickets are sent electronically, so please do not delete them. You must have your ticket with you or you will not be able to enter the event. Your tickets can be printed or scanned from your mobile device. We expect to SELL OUT, so please ensure you purchase your tickets well-in-advance to avoid missing out. Tickets will not be available at the gate.


Q: I cannot attend anymore. Can I get a refund?

A: See our refund policy here.

Q: I have an older child. Can they attend on their own?

A: Children aged 11 years and under must be accompanied by their parents at all times. Parents with children and adolescents aged 12 and over must know where their child is during the event.

Q: My child has a tendency to run off. What happens if I lose them?

A: If a child becomes lost, Imagineers crew members or area managers will take them to the Info Stall.

Q: Do I need a Blue Card to be involved with the Festival? 

A: Yes. We are happy to organise one on your behalf. Please allow up to 6 weeks for this process. 

Q: What type of acts are you looking for? 

A: Our imagination is limitless, so we  are looking for acts, performers and creatives from all backgrounds. All experiences must be family friendly. 

Q: Do I have to provide my own power, sound and lighting equipment?
